"My wife and I, as well as two friends from Germany, had the pleasure of staying at the Distinction Hotel in Te Anau in early December 2012. Whilst I had had the pleasure of previously working at The Te Anau Hotel, it was my first return for 46 years. For my wife and my friends, it was their first visit and, from all our points of view, it was most impressive. Our two villas were extremely comfortable, the dining experience excellent, the service first class. Quite frankly, we couldn't fault it. Without question, we recommend the Distinction Hotel in Te Anau to any prospective visitor".
