We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and positive Kitchen Hand to join our busy kitchen team at the Distinction Mackenzie Country Hotel Twizel.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play an important role in supporting our chefs and keeping the kitchen running smoothly. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Job Description 
● Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
● Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic
● Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
● Preparing vegetables, salads and other ingredients
● Cleaning benches, floors and kitchen equipment
● Assisting with rubbish removal and general kitchen duties
● Receiving, storing and rotating kitchen supplies
● Following food safety and health & safety procedures
● Supporting the kitchen team during busy service period
