Distinction Mackenzie Country Hotel is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent (GSA) to join our team. This roll is a fixed term position from 1st of October 2026 to 31st of May 2027.

Position Overview
As a Guest Service Agent in our Food and Beverage and Housekeeping Departments your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, efficiently assisting in F&B department & ensuring that our guest rooms are prepared to standard prior to the guests arrival. This is a physical role that involves bending, lifting, and being on your feet throughout the day.

This position will be 30 hours plus each week at a pay rate of between $25-28 based on experience.

We have 10 positions available for the summer season.

Job Description & Key Requirements:
• Previous experience in a Food or Beverage or housekeeping service would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
• Strong communication skills
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service
• Flexibility to work on a rostered basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Well-presented, reliable, and proactive in your approach to the job
• This position will require you to work in both Food and Beverage during our busy breakfast or dinner service and also servicing our guest hotel rooms
• Food and Beverage service will include the use of the POS System, taking orders, clearing tables and servicing the buffet during service.
• Housekeeping service includes removing linen from rooms, cleaning bathrooms and guest rooms, making up the room and doing public area cleaning
