Food & Beverage Supervisor/Duty Manager - Dunedin

Dunedin Leisure Lodge - A Distinction Hotel, 30 Duke Street, Dunedin
Dunedin’s only garden hotel, was opened in 1978 on the former site of McGavin Brewery, comprising of 76 rooms with 2 food and beverage outlets and multiple event spaces.

We are looking for a positive ”hands on” Food and Beverage Supervisor/Duty Manager.

About you: 
To be a key member of or food and beverage team, in a developing operation.  A natural leader, with excellent communication skills, extremely well organised and be able to build a natural rapport with our guests both internal and external.
A PASSION for delivering outstanding customer experience
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
Successful candidates will be offered varying hours and days each week
Knowledge of F&B operations (this could include knowledge of some or all of the following areas: Barista, Bar, Restaurant or Banquets
Maintaining/ developing standards & procedures and a love for training others 
Goal orientated and life time learner 
Clear and concise communicator 

The successful candidate possesses the following attributes:
Have a mature, professional, and confident approach to your work
At least 2 Years of F&B and/or Conference and Events experience
A current LCQ certificate will be advantageous
Hold or have the ability to obtain a Managers Certificate 
Experience in POS systems together with basic computer literacy
Fiscally prudent (staff, stock and equipment management)
